On October 8, 2026, the Junior class of Harrisburg High School: SciTech Campus traveled to Philadelphia, thanks to the generous support of the Harrisburg Public School Foundation! Students explored the Museum of the American Revolution, the National Constitution Center, and the Liberty Bell, with a stop for authentic Philly cheesesteaks. It was a beautiful day filled with history, learning, and new experiences. Thank you to our students, staff, and the Foundation for making this memorable trip possible!

Students and staff visited our community partners at the Caring Place today for their annual Grief Summit. They had the opportunity to network with neighboring school districts, discuss ways to support grieving students, and collaborate on ideas for Children’s Grief Awareness Day on November 19.

💙 Join us in raising awareness and showing support for grieving children. Together, we can make sure no child grieves alone!

SciTech seniors unlock their futures with the TFEC Scholarship Bootcamp! This workshop simplified the college funding process and helped students tap into regional financial aid opportunities. As South Central Pennsylvania’s largest scholarship provider, The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) administers over 190 scholarship opportunities, awarding more than $1.7 million annually to local students.

It’s not yet application season, but it’s a great time for eighth-grade students and families to explore what comes next! As the graphic highlights, vocational schools and Harrisburg High School: SciTech Campus offer two valuable paths with different goals. Vocational schools provide hands-on preparation for skilled trades, while SciTech offers an honors curriculum across all four years, a science and technology focus, and rigorous academic preparation for college admission. Think about your interests, strengths, and future goals, and watch for upcoming SciTech application information. Different paths. Both worth being proud of!
